Meet the Founder
Supun Jayawardhane is the founder and structural design lead of Structural Express. He has spent his career doing one thing: producing structural packages that plan reviewers accept — foundations, framing, lateral systems, calculations, and the drawings that tie them together. Final stamping, where a project requires it, is performed by a licensed Professional Engineer in the project's state.
His work spans single-family homes, additions, remodels, ADUs, and light-commercial structures across U.S. jurisdictions, including high-seismic California projects requiring full lateral analysis — shear walls, diaphragms, collectors, moment frames, and strong-wall systems designed to IBC, IRC, CBC, and ASCE 7.
