Common Questions
Will my plans be approved for a permit?
We design to your jurisdiction's adopted codes (IBC, IRC, ASCE 7) and provide plan-check support: structural comments related to our original scope are addressed for up to three review cycles at no additional charge. Approval is the reviewer's call. Our money-back guarantee applies to the Complex Project Structural Set — if we can't resolve a structural approval issue caused by our engineering within the agreed scope, we refund your fee for that package.
How fast will I get my deliverables?
Typical packages deliver in 5–10 business days depending on scope. Priority turnaround is included in the Complex Project set and available as an add-on for others. You'll get a firm date in your quote.
Can you handle complex or multi-story projects?
Yes. The Complex Project set is built for larger homes, multi-story additions, and code-heavy work — with full calculations, advanced lateral analysis, and coordination with your architect or contractor. Final scope and fee are confirmed after we review your plans.
Can you work from my architect's drawings?
Yes — most of our work builds on an existing architectural set. We coordinate directly with your architect or designer and format sheets to match your set where needed.
What if the city sends corrections?
Send them to us. Plan-check responses are part of the job, not a change order. We prepare the response letter and revised sheets until the corrections are cleared.
